April Collective Haul

Hello there!

OK, so as you all probably know, I went on a no-buy March. Right?
But then on April, I bought a ton of makeup compared to the usual 3-5 products I buy in any given month. So I decided why not do a collective haul?

Some products I purchased because I needed some therapy shopping, others have been on my wishlist for the longest time, and some I just wanted to treat myself with.
So lets get on to it!

Alright, going in no specific order, I'll start with the Loreal True Match Super-Blendable Foundation, I got this in the shade W4 and its seriously the perfect match for my skin! This has been the foundation I've been eyeing since I first got into face makeup, but I actually have a different view of it now. I'm actually trying to switch to all cruelty free products and the only reason I bought another product from Loreal is because I'm trying to find my perfect shade of foundation from an affordable drugstore brand rather than trying to find my perfect shade from a $32 foundation.

Next product is the elf HD Cream Blush and I got this in the shade Superstar. I actually found this along with two other shades on sale for $1 each (they originally retail for $3 each), but I only got this one because I've never had a cream blush and I'm unsure of how it will work on my oily skin. So far I've been really loving this and I'll definitely be picking up at least 3 shades from the line!

The Wet n Wild Trio in Walking on Eggshells has been on my wish list for forever! I'm such a sucker for neutrals so this is just perfect! I have no idea why it took me this long to get my hands on it...no idea! I already love it more than the Comfort Zone palette!

Moving on to the freakishly amazing Mary-Lou Manizer by the Balm! I've been on a serious highlighter craze lately and I finally gave in to Mary-Lou!! I love the packaging and the actual product is super pigmented! A little definitely goes a long way. The only complaint I have with this is that I wish the shimmer was a bit more finely mild. Don't get me wrong, the shimmer in this is finely milled on it own, but I feel like when I just use the left over product on my brush to dust some over my nose or cupids bow, I feel like the shimmery bits are more visible...I'm just a bit picky, but seriously, this is great!

The It Cosmetics Your Skin but Better CC+ Cream is a complete treat yo self type of product. I got this online and in the shade medium and I'm so glad it matches me quite well! In the past I tried some BB or CC creams but they always end up being way too cool toned for me and so this is my first CC cream that actually matches me quite well despite having pink undertones and I have to tell ya, this stuff is great!

I've been wanting to order more elf products including their new brushes from their studio line, but I'm still trying to compose my elf wishlist...but obviously I had to give in and pick up this amazingly soft elf Flawless Concealer brush. The size of this is perfect for dusting a base color all over the lid and crease. I have used it for concealer and I found that it worked just fine, I just prefer it more for eyeshadow.

The Daiso Brow Pencil in Black was actually recommended to me by my sister and ever since this has been my recent all in one brow product. I'll do a full review on it as soon as I get the chance to!

The Butter London Cream Eyeshadow in English Rose is just the absolute perfect rosey color. I've only used it once and so far even from swatches, I've been disappointed. Its not suitable as a stand alone type of product (which is what I was hoping to use it for) otherwise its just super patchy and will get into your fine lines...its just not cute. This didn't give me a good impression from Butter London.

The Cargo HD Picture Perfect Lip Primer is another product I've been quite disappointed by. I've only tested this around the house and I already don't like it. I find that it doesn't help smooth out and fill in the fine lines in my lips, and it only makes whatever product I put over it become really sticky. It literally feels like I used a glue stick as a lip balm. Definitely not a good first impression from Cargo.

Right from the start, I've already been loving some of the products above and I'll be testing out some other products before I do a full review on them. Please keep in mind that I wont be doing an individual review for all products mentioned here so if you have a request, feel free to leave it in the comments below!

Thank you for reading!
